A new kind of drinks expo is coming to Paddington this October, and it’s not about the booze. Held at the heritage-listed Paddington Town Hall on Saturday, October 4, The NoLo Show Sydney invites Sydneysiders to explore the growing world of no and low-alcohol beverages in a fun, flavour-focused setting.

The one-day consumer event is all about mindful drinking – offering a curated selection of adult-friendly non-alcoholic and low-alcohol beers, wines, spirits, and ready-to-drink cocktails. Think happy hour without the hangover.

Visitors can meet makers, sample products, and discover wellness-focused brands that aim to deliver the experience of drinking without overdoing it. Whether you’re embracing a #SundayReset, participating in Sober October, or just curious about alternatives, the NoLo Show caters to those who want connection and celebration without the excess.

Two tasting sessions are on offer:

  • Session One: 12:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m.
  • Session Two: 3:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m.

Tickets include a souvenir tasting glass, a NoLo tote bag filled with goodies, and a donation to charity. A limited number of early bird passes are available, with optional MasterClass experiences also on sale for those keen to dive deeper into the movement.

Organisers say the event reflects a broader cultural shift, where social drinking is being redefined by wellness, taste and inclusion. With more Australians exploring alcohol-free options, the NoLo Show sets out to prove that “going out” doesn’t have to mean “going hard.”
